OVERVIEW

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), and Transportation and Marketing Program (TM) required contractor support to conduct grant management functions for awards made under programs funded by the American Rescue Plan Act and the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021.

+mipps was hired to provide grant management support services to increase the USDA’s capacity to administer one-time funding programs under the TM’s $1.6B pandemic response and economic stimulus grant portfolio.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Assist with the administration and oversight of grants and cooperative agreements

Recruit staff with experience interpreting applicable laws and regulations

Provide advice, policy guidance, training, and technical assistance to staff and grantees

Conduct budget reviews and cost analyses

Facilitate program training

Review performance reports and perform risk assessments

Execute post-award administration of financial aid awards

Ensure compliance with AMS terms and conditions

Monitor the use of federal funds


OUR TEAM

+mipps recruited a program manager and a team of grant management analysts to support the execution of multi-year grants and cooperative agreements for the TM program’s pandemic and economic stimulus grants. These individuals possess the grant lifecycle experience, agricultural backgrounds, and USDA experience necessary to support each program's unique needs.
